INFORMATION

HOUSEKEEPER

If you would like to leave everyday tasks aside during your stay, our housekeeper can assist.

On request and for an additional charge, she comes in the morning, takes care of small things and helps keep the house in order.

For those who prefer a more effortless stay.

SNOW REMOVAL

In the Gastein Valley there are long winters and lots of snow – this is especially pleasing for skiers. But don’t worry, the snow shovel can safely remain leaning against the wall. Our winter service takes care of the access and the clearing of the parking lots every day.

CLEANLINESS

The cleaning of the apartments and the house is very important to us.
The well-being of our guests is a priority, and all areas are maintained with great care.

All frequently touched surfaces – such as handles, worktops, light switches, remote controls and appliances – are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

Liquid hand soap is provided in all bathrooms, and hand sanitiser is available for our guests in the entrance area.

LOCATION

Böckstein – where the villa has stood for over 110 years – is part of Bad Gastein, just about 15 minutes from the Hohe Tauern National Park.

It is known for its tranquillity, its gentle walking paths and the sound of streams and small waterfalls that can be heard throughout the area.
Walks and explorations can begin right outside the door.

EXPLORATIONS

The centre of Böckstein can be reached within a few minutes on foot.
The Elisabeth promenade leads to the centre of Bad Gastein with its shops, the train station, the waterfall and the Felsentherme.

In Altböckstein, the Montan Museum and gold panning offer small discoveries – especially for children.

SPA

The Gasteiner Heilstollen has long been known for its natural approach to pain relief and the strengthening of the immune system.
Radon, warmth and high humidity create a special climate that can have a positive effect on the body and overall well-being.
The Heilstollen is just a few minutes from Villa Rosa and can be easily reached by bus or car.

Guests of the Heilstollen receive a 12% health discount on the regular price list for stays of 7 nights or more.

Self-healing powers are activated, the immune system is strengthened.

After medical consultation, a train takes guests into the mountain – where, during the search for gold in the 1940s, something far more valuable was discovered: relief and a place of calm.

The natural conditions in the tunnel can support the body’s regenerative processes and contribute to lasting relief.
The treatments are particularly valued for conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, the respiratory system and the skin.

The Gasteiner Heilstollen is recognised by Austrian and German health insurance providers.

EXCURSIONS & SPORTS

Walks and hikes begin right outside the door.
In summer, the trails start just a few steps from the house, and the Hohe Tauern National Park is only about 15 minutes away.

The Anlauftal, the Astenalm and the Böckfeldalm are all within walking distance and offer beautiful outings – also for families.

The ski bus stops just a short walk from the house.
The Gastein ski area and Sportgastein can be reached within minutes and offer around 200 kilometres of groomed slopes.

THERMEN

Set within the mountains, the Gastein Valley offers two thermal spas open throughout the year:
Felsentherme Bad Gastein and Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein.

Both provide a calm setting for rest and relaxation.
The thermal water of Bad Gastein has long been appreciated for its distinctive qualities.

ART

The Villa Rosa offers young, but also established artists, free from commercial pressure, development and exhibition opportunities. At the same time contemporary art will be shown throughout the house freely accessible to all guests.

Since 2021, paintings by two artists will be shown.

The lateral entrant and young emerging artist Patricia Lehner captured emotions and diaries on canvas.

The photographer Dominique Hammer shows black and white photographs from the Pongau.
